Presentation
Its activities revolve around: Pedagogical activities , support to the community through vocational training, Research Activities, developed in collaboration with other Higher Education Institutions and official entities, mainly in the areas of optimization of processes of physical-chemical food analysis, sensorial analysis, quality control, control and optimization of technological processes, valorization and development of traditional products. To support these intervention areas it has the following laboratories: Technological Workshop of Oenology, Laboratory of Microbiology, Laboratory of Food Science, Panel of Testers and Laboratory of Chemistry and Biochemistry. It also shares some valences with the other Departments that make up the Agrarian School Of Viseu.
